Bill & Danece Stapleton
Serving With New Mission Systems International

Bill and Danece have been members of YCC since 1974 and served for 14 years as YCC Missionaries with Youth With A Mission, in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.  Upon returning from Japan in 1998, Bill served on staff at YCC for 6 years as Administrative Pastor and Pastor of Mission Outreach, before returning to mission service with NMSI.  At a time when many folks are thinking about retirement, Bill earned his MA in Theology and Danece has earned her MSW with a view to future service to the mission community worldwide.  While Danece finishes up her work under supervision, preparing to take her exams to qualify as Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Bill serves YCC as a member and current chair of the YCC Global Outreach board, and also as a member of the International Board of NMSI and Global Resourcing Consultant for NMSI's

International Operations Division.  The location and exact nature of their future service are yet to be decided, but the real point is to continue serving.

Danece's favorite passage of scripture is Paul's benediction from the Ephesian letter, that always reminds her it is God's power at work to accomplish God's will in God's way:

"Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen."   Ephesians 3;20-21

Bill's favorite passage is the one that was the headliner for his ordination service here at YCC in 1978, and was also the theme of the charge, and unbeknown to the other planners, was also emblazoned across the cake at the reception afterwards:

"And the things that you have heard and seen me do in the presence of many witnesses, commit these things to faithful people, who will be able to teach others also."  2 Timothy 2:2
