Our Mission

A Healthy Church is a Mission Church.

YCC Global Outreach is the mission arm of Yucaipa Christian Church and is charged with managing the funds, activities and mission enterprises arising from the life of the YCC congregation.  Our statement of purpose defines not only what we do when we are gathered, but also how we set our priorities.  YCC Global Outreach exists to fulfill the following purposes:

1.  To represent within the YCC congregation, the call to mission endeavor,keeping before the church the mandate of Christ to make disciples of all the nations.”(Matthew 28:19)

2.  To sponsor prayer within the YCC congregation in behalf of mission enterprise worldwide and also in behalf of the individual "YCC missionaries."

3.  To enable and facilitate mission work among the YCC congregation through raising up, providing training and support of longer-term missionaries, extending our influence to the nations, particularly those nations in the unreached or less-reached areas of the world.

4.  Through development, training and support of Short Term Outreaches, to provide opportunities for YCC members to participate in missionary enterprise, aimed at working alongside our longer term missionaries in their field of service.

We believe that participation in Missionary Work is the very best, and most challenging discipleship program any believer can engage in.  Because of this belief, we always offer a variety of outreaches and activities, in partnership with our longer-term missionaries, aimed at believers at all stages of their growth. As you grow in your faith, we try to provide resources and encouragement that will bring you into the joy that occurs as we participate with God in reaching out to His world.
